Our clinical psychologist draws on a range of evidence-based modalities to help you cultivate greater mastery over your emotions, thoughts, and responses to life’s challenges.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

INTAKE & ASSESSMENT
We start with an initial session to understand your concerns, goals, and history. This
may be done by phone or face-to-face.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR STORY
We explore your history in more depth, clearly identify key issues, and develop a
personalised plan for your care.

TREATMENT PLANNING
We review your individual treatment plan and, if EMDR is suitable, obtain informed
consent so you know exactly what to expect.

BUILDING SAFETY & SKILLS
Early sessions focus on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and
coping strategies, ensuring you feel stable and supported.

EMDR & TRAUMA PROCESSING
Once safety is established and you feel more stable in your daily life, we move to
EMDR: identifying target memories and processing them in a structured, supportive way to help reduce distress and support emotional integration.

In the background we can liaise with your support network at THERAPY™, as well as your broader professional supports including GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and other allied health providers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Getting Started

Before booking your first session, we encourage you to visit your GP. THERAPY maintains strong collaborative relationships with local GPs, and communication between your psychologist and doctor can significantly enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Please book a long consultation with your GP, allowing sufficient time for them to discuss your needs and prepare a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan if appropriate.

Appointments are available for appointments Monday to Wednesday.

Reception is open 10am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

Our admin team will support you through the booking process and advise on the next available appointments. If wait times apply, you may choose to join our cancellation list for earlier availability.

Session Fee: $232.99

Medicare Rebate (if eligible): $137.05
Typical Out-of-Pocket Cost: $95.94

Our psychologist is registered with Medicare under the Better Access Initiative, allowing eligible clients to receive rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. If you do not qualify for Medicare rebates, you may still be eligible for support through your private health insurance provider.
